Job Summary:

Supervise students in In-School Suspension, keep a structured and positive environment, and help students complete their classwork while following school rules.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor students in ISS at all times.

• Collect and return student assignments to teachers.

• Help students with classwork as needed.

• Keep accurate attendance and behavior records..

• Encourage positive behavior and good choices.

• Maintain confidentiality about student discipline.

• Perform other duties assigned by the principal.

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma and successful completion of the Paraprofessional Exam
  OR

• Associate degree
  OR

• At least 60 college credit hours

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators.

Must provide three references, including at least two from a previous supervisor or teacher.
