Secondary Special Education Inclusion Teacher (9-12) SY 2024-2025
Description Secondary Special Education Description: The Hope Public School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher with Secondary (9-12) Special Education Certification Qualifications:
- Valid Arkansas Teaching Certificate, Secondary (9-12) Special Education Certification.
- Must hold a current Arkansas Educator’s License with (9-12) Special Education or be eligible to receive an Arkansas Educators' 9-12 Special Education endorsement.
- If not licensed, must possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) and be willing to pursue Arkansas educator licensure.
- Must pass a background check of the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry.
- Must demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
- The Special Education Teacher ensures that the school's special education program provides necessary services for students with disabilities.
- The teacher will work with parents, general education teachers, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- The teacher will ensure compliance with all federal, state and district Special Education requirements.
- Current Arkansas Teacher Certification in Special Education Secondary (9-12) or be working or willing to work toward Special Education certification under an alternative licensure plain.
