QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma with experience in general office work and data processing and Computer Experience
Responsibilities:
1. Perform general secretarial and clerical duties from the Federal Programs Director
2. Maintain achievement records of all Title I schools in district
3. Maintain all student information of participants in the Title I, Title II, Title V, Even Start, Safe and Drug-Free Schools and after-school centers as needed
4. Compile student tests, grades and other data as needed for federal programs assessment.
5. Type requisitions and maintain purchase order files
6. Maintain financial records of school and program expenditures approved by the Federal Programs Director
7. Maintain files for all operations of the Federal Programs Director's office
8. Assist in answering school district phones and welcome guests to the school district as needed
9. Provide clerical support to the Title I District Social Work/Homeless Liaison
10. Utilize public relations skills and telephone techniques when working with employees and the general public
11. Maintain confidentiality of all student and employee information
12. Collaborate with K-6 Principals and parent involvement teachers to provide appropriate resources for patents in order to improve student academic achievement
13. Arrange for parents to attend state, regional and national Title I meetings
14. Arrange for parents transportation to parent meetings when bus transportation is not appropriate
15. Attend K-6 parent meetings to communicate Title I information to parents
16. Perform other duties as assigned
